Hay Ho! Bus 39A Hereford – Hay-on-Wye

Starts October 5th, 2014

The 39A Hereford to Brecon bus is to be withdrawn after Sunday 28th September 2014 following local authority cuts in budgets.

The good news is that several community groups have got together to support a new service between Hereford and Hay-on-Wye which will run on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays…timetable overleaf.

The bus serves Belmont, Clehonger, Kingstone, Madley, Vowchurch, Peterchurch, Dorstone, Hardwicke and Cusop.

This is what you can do to make it a success:

1. Use it whenever you can – we’ve reduced many of the fares!

2. Spread the word to your neighbours and friends.

3. Ask your Parish Council to support it financially.

4. Make a contribution to Hay Tourism Group to keep the bus going.

Issued by Rail for Herefordshire, a campaigning organisation that seeks to improve public transport for the residents of Herefordshire. See RailforHerefordshire.org.uk

The bus is currently supported by the Hay Tourism Group, Hay Chamber of Commerce, RfH, and Herefordshire Ramblers – and more are joining us as we spread the word.
