From Monday 8th October the track layout at Craven Arms will be changing. The main change is that services heading onto the Heart of Wales Line from Shrewsbury will depart from Platform 2 instead of Platform 1 as now. Anyone travelling from the Hereford direction arriving at Platform 1 and changing at Craven Arms will need to use the footbridge Platform 2 for the Heart of Wales Line train. Services off the Heart of Wales line towards Shrewsbury will continue to use platform 1. Disabled passengers are strongly advised to contact Arriva Trains Wales before their journey to secure assistance in changing platforms.
Arriva Trains Wales will be letting customers know by posters on the station in the lead up to the 8th. The platform signage will also be updated to reflect these changes.
